AAA: Wingo connects Aruba with Barranquilla and Bucaramanga

ORANJESTAD – Wingo has expanded air connectivity between Aruba and Colombia with two new direct services to Barranquilla and Bucaramanga, as Noticiacla previous reported.

The year-round route between Aruba and Barranquilla officially began on July 9, 2026, and will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, says the airport. The inaugural flight arrived in Aruba with all 156 seats occupied, reflecting strong demand between the two destinations.

The seasonal service between Aruba and Bucaramanga began on June 17 and will continue through August 15, 2026, with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

With the new routes, Wingo now connects Aruba directly with five Colombian cities: Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga. According to the airline and Aruban authorities, the expansion is expected to support tourism, business, cultural exchange and family travel.

Colombia remains one of Aruba’s most important tourism markets. Aruba Airport Authority, the Government of Aruba and the Aruba Tourism Authority described the new services as an important step in diversifying tourism and strengthening regional connectivity.
