ORANJESTAD — Legal representatives of Tour Operators Uni and the Government of Aruba met on Monday, October 12, to discuss the case brought by Aruba Birdlife Conservation (ABC), ahead of the October 15 hearing.

In its statement, Tour Operators Uni welcomed the government’s openness to dialogue. The organisation claims ABC declined to participate in discussions and cancelled its attendance at the meeting with lawyers at the last minute. The statement includes no response from ABC.

Tour Operators Uni says it seeks a solution that protects nature while allowing licensed operators to continue offering responsible tours on designated routes. The organisation remains optimistic about the case’s outcome.
