ORANJESTAD — Aruba Airlines, Laser and Venezolana are preparing to resume commercial flights between Aruba and Venezuela in November, according to Juan Guatopo, vice president of the La Vela de Coro Chamber of Commerce.

Citing information from the tourism minister, Guatopo said Josefa Camejo Airport, on the Paraguaná peninsula, would connect Venezuela’s Falcón state with Aruba.

The business sector expects the connection to support economic activity and facilitate travel between the two territories. Aruba could also provide Venezuelan passengers with onward connections to other international destinations. The published information includes no exact launch date or flight schedule.
