ORANJESTAD – Aruba continues to strengthen its position as one of the Caribbean's fastest-growing tourism destinations. According to an analysis published by Travel and Tour World, the island recorded a 10.9% increase in stay-over visitors during the first half of 2026, welcoming 845,501 visitors.
The report highlights that Aruba's growth is no longer driven by a single market. While the United States remains the island's largest source market with nearly 595,000 visitors, Aruba has also expanded its international reach through strong growth in Latin America and Europe.
The standout performer was Argentina, where visitor arrivals surged 181.6%, increasing from 25,062 to 70,587 visitors and making it Aruba's second-largest international source market.
Additional growth came from Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, reinforcing Aruba's strategy of diversifying its tourism markets and reducing dependence on a single country.
According to Travel and Tour World, Aruba's expanding air connectivity, diversified visitor base and growing international appeal position the island for continued tourism growth through the remainder of 2026.
