Aruba updates legal rules for Dog Ordinance violations

ORANJESTAD – The Aruban government has updated the regulation covering the official summons form used for Dog Ordinance violations.
The changes, published in Aruba's Official Gazette, are technical only. This means no new rules or fines have been introduced for dog owners.
The main changes include:
Giving the regulation an official title.
Updating outdated legal references.
Simplifying the legal wording to make it clearer and easier to use.
According to the government, the amendments are intended to modernize the regulation and improve legal clarity. The way Dog Ordinance violations are handled remains unchanged.
