San Nicolas prepares for third Food Truck Festival

SAN NICOLAS – Downtown San Nicolas will host the third edition of the San Nicolas Food Truck Festival on Saturday, August 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Admission is free.

After attracting more than 6,000 visitors last year, this year's festival will feature around 25 food trucks, pop-up restaurants, local artisans and other small businesses.

In addition to food, the event will include live performances by local artists, DJs, dance groups, a hot dog eating contest and activities for children, including a space for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products.

This year's theme, "Island Species," highlights the importance of locally grown and produced goods while giving local farmers an opportunity to present their products to the public.

Organizers hope the festival will continue to support economic activity in San Nicolas while providing an evening of entertainment for families and visitors.
