ORANJESTAD – Member of Parliament Xiomara Maduro questioned the government's decision to use Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) funds to pay a private company for waste processing. Maduro said the government should be transparent about how public money is spent and explain why Serlimar was not given a greater role. She also requested clarification on the contract's costs, how it differs from the previous "Baki den Bario" program and the government's long-term plans for Serlimar.
