NANTUCKET — The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a Canadian air ambulance that disappeared Saturday while flying from Bermuda to Boston.

The Gulfstream G100, operated by Latitude Air Ambulance, had six people on board: four Canadians and two Bermuda residents. Debris from the aircraft has been found off Nantucket, Massachusetts.

Nantucket airport said the plane had reported an emergency before contact was lost. The exact circumstances remain unclear and the search for those on board is continuing.
