E Brasa mediathon to raise funds for Cas di Cultura renovation

ORANJESTAD — Cas di Cultura will host the E Brasa Mediathon on November 14, a full-day televised event to raise funds and rally support for the renovation of Aruba’s National Theatre.

The programme will bring together artists, cultural representatives and the community through live performances, interviews, archival footage and memories of the theatre. It forms part of the E Brasa campaign, which aims to prepare Cas di Cultura for future generations of artists and audiences.

Since opening in 1958, Cas di Cultura has provided a stage for musicians, dancers, actors, schools and cultural organisations. The renovation aims to preserve this space for local talent and artistic exchange.

The public will be able to contribute by telephone, bank transfer, digital channels and in person. The Adopt-a-Seat initiative will also form part of the campaign.
