KLM to receive its first Airbus A350 in October

SCHIPHOL — KLM expects to receive its first Airbus A350-900 in early October. The aircraft, registered PH-ZNA and named De Nachtwacht, is currently at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, where it has completed three test flights.
Delivery was originally scheduled for late August but was postponed. As a result, the first commercial flight to Toronto has also been rescheduled and is now planned for October 30.
The initial flights will operate without Business Class, as the new cabin is still awaiting certification. KLM expects to receive two more A350s during 2026, followed by another three in 2027.
Besides Toronto, the airline plans to deploy the aircraft on routes to Dar es Salaam, Montreal, Kilimanjaro, Nairobi and Zanzibar.
