TUI to increase Amsterdam-Aruba flights to three per week from April 2027
ORANJESTAD — TUI will increase its Amsterdam-Aruba service from two to three flights per week starting in April 2027.
Tourism, Transport and Labor Minister Wendrick Cicilia confirmed the expansion following talks with TUI Dutch Caribbean head Antoine Klein Hofmeijer.
According to Cicilia, Aruba plans to intensify efforts in the European market after visitor numbers from Europe declined in recent years. The government intends to invest more in promoting the market and diversifying Aruba’s visitor base.
European visitors are considered important to Aruba’s tourism strategy, particularly because of the focus on more sustainable tourism, longer stays and broader economic contributions.
The government and TUI also discussed further cooperation to strengthen air connectivity and Aruba’s position in the European market.
