Schwengle: Short lines of communication between Aruba and the Netherlands are essential

THE HAGUE – Minister Plenipotentiary Mildred Schwengle paid an official courtesy visit to Minister Tom Berendsen, during which both discussed cooperation within the Kingdom.

Schwengle described the meeting as positive and emphasized that, given the current geopolitical situation, it is important for Aruba and the Netherlands to maintain strong and direct cooperation.

According to the minister, an essential point is that the lines of communication between Aruba and the Netherlands remain short, allowing both sides to communicate and coordinate quickly whenever necessary.

The meeting also served to reaffirm the importance of good relations within the Kingdom and of keeping communication channels open between both sides.
