ORANJESTAD – The Central Bank of Aruba (CBA) presented its 2026-2030 strategic plan and latest economic research during Business Days 2026, held as part of the institution’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The event took place on August 19 and 20 under the theme “Leading with Equity, Anchored in the Future” and brought together stakeholders from the financial sector, government and public organizations.

New CBA President Thomas Domhoff opened both sessions and formally introduced himself to key stakeholders. The strategic plan, titled “Anchored in the Future,” focuses on four main priorities: digitalization, data, stakeholder engagement and preparedness for challenges such as cyber threats and climate change.

Economist Ryan Marapin provided a preview of the CBA’s upcoming Economic Outlook, including forecasts for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.

The bank also presented the latest edition of Governing from the Future, containing seven studies on economic and policy challenges Aruba may face over the next 10 to 15 years.
