61-year-old man dies after Christoffelberg rescue in Curacao

WILLEMSTAD - Christoffelpark staff went to assist him and began CPR when his condition worsened. The Coast Guard’s Maritime Operations Center then deployed a helicopter to rescue him from the mountain. Resuscitation efforts continued during the transfer to the Coast Guard base at Hato, but ambulance personnel later determined that the man showed no signs of life.
