WILLEMSTAD – In Curaçao, Grupo Sin Kabes and Curaçao Nature Conservation held a passive demonstration in front of Botica Juliana to express concern about various development projects taking place across the island.

According to the groups, developments in areas including Penstraat, Zakitó, Bapor Kibrá, Otrobanda, Pietermaai, Kabakuchi, Sta. Martha, Willibrordus, Westpunt, Caracasbaai, Piscadera and Marichi do not necessarily benefit the Curaçao community.

The demonstration began at 11 a.m. The organizers said they wanted to raise these concerns not only as organizations, but also as citizens of Curaçao.
