ORANJESTAD - Aruba’s justice authorities have analyzed the latest crime figures and criminal methods, with the aim of using that information to strengthen prevention, investigations and coordination among the agencies responsible for the island’s security.
The Aruba Police Force presented a detailed picture of the current security situation to Justice Minister Arthur Dowers, the Attorney General, the Chief Public Prosecutor, representatives of the Aruba Security Service (VDA) and senior police leadership.
The key benefit is that the different justice agencies can work from a shared understanding of current criminal patterns. According to police, this coordination is essential to developing more effective prevention and investigative strategies, ultimately aimed at improving public safety and security.
