Three armed men rob man on Hubadastraat and steal car

ORANJESTAD – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Friday on Hubadastraat, where three men allegedly robbed a man of his wallet and vehicle.

According to preliminary information, the victim told police that he had just arrived home when he was approached by three men dressed in black with their faces covered. One of the suspects allegedly threatened him with a firearm before the group took his wallet, containing cash, and his car.

The victim said the suspects spoke Papiamento and Spanish.

Several police units immediately began searching the area. The Robbery Team and forensic officers also responded to conduct the investigation.

A short time later, police located the stolen vehicle near Bushiri. The car was seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
