ORANJESTAD – AVP parliamentarian Stephany Sevinger says the early success of the Aruba Limpi program shows the urgent need for a long-term national waste management strategy. She argues the initiative should become the foundation for a permanent plan focused on reducing waste, expanding recycling, modernizing infrastructure and strengthening SERLIMAR's role.

Sevinger noted that more than 3,180 residents used the program during its first month, resulting in the collection of 642 tons of waste. She also called for greater transparency regarding the project's execution and financing, stressing that a cleaner Aruba benefits not only tourism but, above all, the island's residents and future generations.
