Aruba Lions Club donates Afl. 10,000 to eight community organizations

ORANJESTAD – Aruba Lions Club has reaffirmed its commitment to the community by donating a total of Afl. 10,000 to eight local organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people in need across Aruba. The donations were presented during the club's official board installation ceremony.

According to the club, the selected organizations represent the eight global service areas of Lions Clubs International, focusing on health, humanitarian aid, youth development, environmental protection and community support.

The beneficiaries are:

FAVI, supporting vision care initiatives.

Fundacion Diabetes Aruba, promoting diabetes awareness and education.

Aruba Conservation Foundation, protecting Aruba's natural environment.

Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds (KWF), assisting cancer patients and their families.

Fundacion pa Nos Comunidad, providing humanitarian assistance.

YMCA Aruba, supporting youth development and leadership.

Red Cross Aruba, strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response.

Fundacion Cria Nos Muchanan, helping provide daily breakfasts for schoolchildren.

The club said the donations reflect its international "We Serve" mission and its ongoing commitment to addressing global and local community needs.

Approaching 80 years of service in Aruba, Aruba Lions Club said it will continue working alongside community partners through programs such as Hospital Bed & Wheelchair, Smile Mobile, Health Fair and Back to School Foodbags, while encouraging the public to stay informed about its upcoming service projects.
