ORANJESTAD — Impact Hub Aruba has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Curaçao Innovation Hub and Dutch Caribbean Innovation Fund to strengthen connections between entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in Aruba, the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands.
The agreements were signed during a visit by Dutch Economy Minister Heleen Herbert, in connection with the inauguration of Curaçao Innovation Hub.
The partnership with Curaçao Innovation Hub will focus on knowledge sharing, access to business networks, joint events and commercial opportunities for startups and scaleups on both islands.
The second agreement, with Dutch Caribbean Innovation Fund, aims to establish the Dutch Caribbean Innovation Alliance within the next 12 months, expanding regional market access, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
Impact Hub Aruba Director Mary-Ann Falconi-Rasmijn emphasized the importance of regional cooperation for small economies.
"When we connect our ecosystems, we create more opportunities for growth, expansion and investment," she stated.
