Kimberly’s family seeks witnesses to fatal Grapefield accident
SAN NICOLAS — The family of Kimberly van Ardenne is urgently appealing to anyone who witnessed or has information about the fatal UTV accident that occurred in Grapefield, San Nicolas, on September 13, 2026.
Kimberly, a 23-year-old Dutch woman, lost her life after the UTV she was travelling in crashed in the area. Preliminary reports issued after the tragedy indicated that the vehicle overturned and that paramedics were unable to save her.
In a poster circulated on social media, the family says they are devastated by her death and still have questions about what exactly happened. They note that different accounts are circulating, while witnesses were reportedly present at the scene.
To establish a clearer picture of the moments leading up to and during the accident, the family is asking anyone who saw something or possesses relevant information to contact them.

The appeal is intended not only to clarify the cause and circumstances of the accident, but also to help a grieving family obtain answers about the tragedy that took their daughter, granddaughter, sister and niece.
