University of Aruba marks 15 years of Student Ambassador Awards
ORANJESTAD — The University of Aruba (UA) celebrated the 15th edition of its Student Ambassador Awards, recognizing students not only for academic performance but also for leadership, service, character and their contribution to the university and the Aruban community.
The 2025-2026 awards honored students from different faculties and departments for their commitment, support for fellow students and active involvement in university and community life.
The UA Music Club was named Student Club of the Year 2025-2026. Setar N.V. also contributed Afl. 10,000 to the Student Development Fund, which supports full-time students pursuing academic and professional opportunities such as conferences, exchanges, internships abroad and social entrepreneurship.
UA says the awards reflect its broader goal of preparing students not only for their careers, but also to become active citizens who contribute meaningfully to Aruba and beyond.
