Body found near Bachelor Beach
SAN NICOLAS — Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found Monday morning along the coast near Bachelor Beach, east of Anker. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and the man’s identity is not yet known.
Police dispatch received the report at approximately 6:14 a.m. and sent a San Nicolas patrol, along with other authorities, to the scene. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the discovery of a body near the shoreline.
The Forensic Department, forensic doctor, Criminal Investigation Department, UMM human trafficking and smuggling unit, and Victim Support attended the scene. The Fire Department also assisted police.
The case remains under investigation.
Aruba Police are asking anyone who may have information or who witnessed anything relevant to call the police tip line at 11141. Callers may remain anonymous.
