Rodgers Beach Facility Center, pier and deck fully renovated

ORANJESTAD – Tourism, Transport and Labour Minister Wendrick Cicilia and the Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) have officially presented the renovated Facility Center at Rodgers Beach.

The building holds considerable sentimental value for generations of Arubans, particularly the San Nicolas community, but had deteriorated and required maintenance. The refreshed facility is now ready for the public to use and enjoy again.

As part of the project, the pier and deck at Rodgers Beach also received maintenance to provide visitors with a safer and more pleasant environment.

“This place has a special meaning for many people. It represents memories, gatherings and moments shared with family and friends,” Cicilia said. According to the minister, the government should not only create new projects but also preserve and renovate Aruba’s existing public facilities.
