ORANJESTAD – Aruba will be included in Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) Summer 2028 programme, which features more than 450 voyages to nearly 150 destinations across 51 countries.
In May 2028, Norwegian Luna will operate a special 10-day repositioning cruise from Miami to New York, making calls in Aruba, Curaçao and San Juan along the way.
NCL says its 2028 programme will place greater emphasis on time spent at destinations. Ships are expected to spend around 80% of each voyage in port, with average port calls exceeding 10 hours.
The wider Summer 2028 deployment includes 20 ships sailing from 25 homeports, with itineraries covering the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Bermuda, the Bahamas and the South Pacific.
For Aruba, the Norwegian Luna call adds another major NCL ship visit as part of an itinerary connecting Miami and New York through the Caribbean.
