LIMA – Prime Minister Mike Eman is in Peru representing Aruba at the inauguration of Keiko Fujimori as the country's new president. Alongside the inauguration ceremony, Eman is holding a series of diplomatic, economic and trade meetings.

His agenda includes talks with President-elect Fujimori, Paraguayan President Santiago Peña, and leaders from Peru's agricultural and export sectors. The meetings are aimed at strengthening relations between Aruba and Peru, expanding trade and exploring opportunities to export Peruvian agricultural products to Aruba.

Fujimori, leader of the Popular Force party, won Peru's 2026 presidential election and will become the country's first democratically elected female president.
