Tjon(MEP): Minister Croes has yet to release LAR advisory

ORANJESTAD – Parliamentarian Rocco Tjon (MEP) says Education Minister Gerlien Croes has still not released the official LAR advisory concerning the objection filed over the use of public funds for a private jet trip.

According to Tjon, the LAR Advisory Committee submitted its opinion to the minister on July 10, but more than 10 days later it has neither been shared with the parties involved nor made public. While the minister has six weeks to issue a final decision, Tjon argues that Parliament and the public have a legal right to timely access to the advisory.
