Aruba captures the 2026 Junior League Latin American title
ORANJESTAD – Aruba has once again made history in youth baseball. The island defeated Nicaragua in the championship game of the 2026 Junior League Latin America Tournament, earning the regional title and securing a place in the 2026 Junior League Baseball World Series in the United States.
The victory marks another major achievement for Aruban baseball. After an impressive tournament run, Aruba overcame Nicaragua in the final to claim the Latin America championship and the right to represent the region on the world stage.
With this result, Aruba will compete against the best Junior League teams from around the globe at the Junior League Baseball World Series, where the island's young athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their talent against regional champions from around the world.
The championship is a source of pride for all of Aruba and reflects the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, volunteers and families who helped make this success possible.
