ORANJESTAD – The Aruban government has taken another step to support local entrepreneurs with the first loan issued under the BMKB-ACS financing guarantee program in partnership with Qredits. During a visit to Vaper Trading VBA with the duth secretary of state Eric vd Berg, Minister Geoffrey Wever said the initiative will make financing more accessible for businesses that have strong growth potential but struggle to obtain traditional bank loans.

The program provides partial government guarantees on business loans, reducing lenders' risk. Vaper Trading will use the funding to expand its operations. Wever said the partnership between government, financial institutions and entrepreneurs will help create jobs, stimulate investment and diversify Aruba's economy.
