Rotaract Aruba installs new 2026–2027 board

ORANJESTAD - The Rotaract Club of Aruba has officially installed its new leadership team for the 2026–2027 Rotary year during a ceremony in Oranjestad. The event honored the outgoing board, led by Karel Arends, and recognized members and projects for their outstanding contributions.

The annual YOU, Inc. – Excel Professionally & Beyond seminar received the Project of the Year award, while Endrick Leon was named Member of the Year. Karel Arends also received the Outstanding Leadership Award for his service as president from 2024 to 2026.

Luisa Arcila officially assumed the presidency and presented her vision for the coming year under the international Rotaract theme "Create Lasting Impact." Her priorities include recruiting new members, expanding community service projects, strengthening leadership development, and supporting awareness and prevention of childhood obesity.
