Cuida Aruba changes cleanup strategy, ends fixed cleanup days

ORANJESTAD — Cuida Aruba is introducing a more flexible approach, allowing businesses, schools and volunteer groups to organize cleanups on dates of their choice. Between 20 and 30 locations have been identified for cleaning before year-end. No neighborhood waste containers will be provided at the end of October, although another round may be considered before December, particularly in San Nicolas. The initiative will emphasize environmental education and community participation, while structural waste management remains the government's responsibility.
