Alzheimer Foundation Aruba launches Teal Ribbon Week

SAN NICOLAS — Alzheimer Foundation Aruba (F.A.A.) has launched its Teal Ribbon Week, taking place from September 20–27, 2026, as part of its awareness month.
The week opened on Sunday, September 20, with a prayer gathering at Santa Teresita Church in San Nicolas. The event brought the community together to pray for health, strength and hope for people living with neurocognitive conditions, formerly known as dementia, as well as their loved ones and caregivers.
Under the theme “United in Prayer, Strengthened by Hope,” F.A.A. emphasizes that awareness promotes promotes confidence and safety and can save lives.
Alzheimer Foundation Aruba is an active member of Patients of Aruba (PDA).
