ZANDVOORT - Max Verstappen has signed a contract extension with Red Bull that will keep him with the Formula 1 team through the end of the 2030 season.

The Dutch driver joined Red Bull in 2016 and has since collected 71 victories and four Drivers’ Championships. Despite Red Bull slipping back under the latest regulations, Verstappen has chosen to remain with the team, ending speculation over a possible move elsewhere.

Verstappen said he remains confident in Team Principal Laurent Mekies’ vision and Red Bull’s ability to return to winning form. He described the team as a “second family” and said the goal remains to fight for more victories and championships.

Mekies called the extension a strong statement of mutual trust and ambition, stressing that Verstappen remains central to Red Bull’s future.
