Man murdered in Zegu shooting in Curacao

WILLEMSTAD – A man was shot and killed during an early morning shooting near the Zegu roundabout in Curaçao.

According to preliminary information, police responded to reports of gunfire and found the victim lying on the ground with no signs of life. The man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers sealed off the area while forensic investigators processed the crime scene. Initial reports indicate that at least 31 spent shell casings were recovered, suggesting an intense exchange of gunfire.
