WILLEMSTAD - APC together with Next Level Investments announces “LAMAN” - a luxury hospitality/residential marina project occupying one of Curacao's most desirable areas.
APC has approached local real estate developer ‘Next Level Investments' to unveil Curacao’s newest quiet-luxury residential development, “LAMAN”. Nestled on the hillside of Kabakuchi, LAMAN stands to become the first hospitality/residential development of its kind in Curacao: a 58-property project sensitively designed to blend into the raw landscape of Kabakuchi, boasting a host of resort-like amenities and facilities open to the community. The project will include a 38-unit apartment building and a hillside residential area with 20distinguished villas. The exterior is architecture-led and blends seamlessly with the scenic and rugged nature of Kabakuchi. The interiors have been expertly designed to maximise outdoor-indoor living, space, volume, and light, blending natural materials and organic design to pay homage to the island life. Surrounding the homes will be unparalleled amenities and facilities including restaurants, a gym, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and a fully operational marina.
Spearheaded by locals, LAMAN has been envisioned to set a new precedent in Curacao for sustainable, inspiring designs which enhance the quality of life of residents as well as the wider community. The project also contributes to Curacao's Government's ongoing tourism development strategy in a sensitive manner to Curacao's unique environment, by increasing the room availability in the Jan Thiel Area. As such, the project will also host a fully-fledged rental and property management program. LAMAN will further aim to continue APC's vision in the ongoing efforts to evolve Kabakuchi & the Jan Thiel area into a best-in-class residential & tourism area.
When asked, the project developers said that three words that characterize LAMAN are: quiet luxury, comfort and lifestyle. “We asked ourselves: How can we enhance the experience of our residents that can further improve their day-to-day lives”. The buildings and surroundings incorporate elements that promote this - owing to the demand and trends from both clients and stakeholders looking to increasingly incorporate well-being into the daily lives of Curacao residents and visitors.
Preparations for the project are currently on-going and the project is expected to be completed in 2026. The development team has over 40 years of combined experience in the development of luxury residential real-estate and development for the international market. www.lamancuracao.com
