DAECI: All stores to remain closed on Labor Day in Aruba

ORANJESTAD – All stores in Aruba are to remain closed on Labor Day, may 1st 2018. The department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry issued a statement informing that all stores are forbidden to be open on this day. This is also valid for stories that had a previous waiver to stay open later, on a Sunday and/or holidays. This however is not valid for stores located in hotels that have a valid ‘hotel permit’. These stores are permitted to stay open on Labor Day.
